A family trip to Israel enabled David to share this experience with his wife, Leasa and his two daughters, Carly and Hayley. What an incredible experience to experience Israel through the eyes of his children. Following the trip, the Shukiar family went to Amsterdam in order to meet Sara Kirby, the living cousin of Carly's Holocaust Remember Us Twin Sophia van Hasselt. Read all about the experience of traveling to the very north of Holland and stepping foot in the home that Sophia and her family lived in before being transported to Auschwitz.
